2025 Conference

Last September, historians from across the state gathered at the historic Old State House Museum in Little Rock for our 2025 Annual Conference, themed "Collaboration: Connecting Across Campus and Community." Over two days, colleagues from universities, community colleges, and museums came together to share new research, swap teaching strategies, and celebrate the work happening in Arkansas history departments.

Attendees enjoyed thought-provoking panels and roundtables, a keynote address from Arkansas PBS's Casey Sanders, and plenty of time to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. As always, the conference reminded us why AACHT has been bringing Arkansas's history community together since 1974 — the connections made here carry on well beyond the conference itself.

The photos below only capture a small part of the two-day conference, but we hope they give you a sense of the energy and camaraderie that made AACHT 2025 such a success.

We're already looking forward to seeing everyone again this September for AACHT 2026!
